When celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, you can focus on the green; that’s easy enough too. Find all the green clothing to wear, paint everyone’s nails green, and make sure all the food gets a touch of green food coloring. Or, you can grab a few coloring pages and a box of crayons, and you’re set.

St. Patrick’s Day Coloring Pages

Before we talk about shamrocks or coloring too much, let’s talk about Shamrocks vs four Leaf Clovers. Did you know they are not the same? I always thought “shamrock” was interchangeable and then my blunt, sometimes snarky, British friend said “you Americans always lump those two together! Don’t you know the difference?”. Obviously, I did not. He wasn’t being rude, he was just laughing at a blatant misunderstanding that I was ignorantly applying to my art. Here’s the thing…

Shamrocks vs Four Leaf Clovers Shamrocks are the green leaf plant with 3 leaves (as seen on all the art examples in these shamrock coloring sheets). Four-leaf clovers are a similar green leaf plant with 4 leaves. Sounds logical, right? I had a bit of an embarrassed “duh” moment, but I’m thankful my buddy set me straight. He does that a lot.

So, on to Shamrock coloring sheets. I have a printable vs you can download, print and color. I also have a Shamrock coloring page design you can create with your Cricut. So let’s talk about the printable version. Designed to print on 8.5×11″ paper and your standard printer, this coloring page prints in basic black and white. You can print on colored paper for more fun and just add glitter glue.

How to Make a Shamrock Coloring Page with your Cricut

Download, print, and color a Shamrock coloring page for St. Patrick’s Day. This family-friendly activity is a great way to enjoy some together time with family or relaxing time with yourself.

I’ve created my own coloring page with my Cricut, which you can do with my easy-to-find Cricut Canvas. However, there are plenty of options you can print too.

Color your pages with whatever supplies you prefer. I love my watercolor pencils, but markers or crayons work well too. The Cricut pens are some of my favorites to add accents to.. they’ve got some really pretty gel glitter pens – the gold is FABULOUS for adding accents to Shamrock art.

Create this coloring page with your Cricut and the Cricut pens! I’ve set up a Cricut Canvas to help you make this Shamrock Coloring Page. You can make it as is or edit it in Cricut Design Space. Change the pen colors you use, move things around or personalize the page. Head here to make this Shamrock coloring page with your Cricut.

Add gold accents to Shamrock Coloring Pages with gold glitter pens

In addition to all the coloring designs (cards, pages and tags), you can also create party decor, table place setting accents, gift tags and so much more. I have a few other projects tutorials you can create with this design, check them out here:

I also have a printable shamrock you can use for more projects or add to your coloring sheet activities.

Side note:  if you’re confused about this Cricut talk, read more about Creating with Cricut. If you have a Cricut machine but didn’t realize you can draw with it, I have a whole series on drawing and writing with your Cricut.

More Shamrock Coloring Sheets for St. Patrick’s Day

Let’s get to coloring! Download or create a Shamrock Coloring Page. I have a shamrock coloring page I designed, you can download it just below here. Or check out some of these other coloring pages I’ve found.

Some coloring pages are really complex and some are good for youngest kids. I’ve also created a Leprechaun coloring page you can download from Projects for Preschoolers.

I found all of these shamrock coloring sheets from other designers around the web. Click the links below to visit their sites and download their printable coloring page/s. Leave them a comment to let them know you stopped by! Print just one, or print them all.

If you’re hosting any kind of St. Patrick’s Day celebration, a variety of activity pages and, of course, yummy St. Patrick’s Day snacks are the perfect pair to keep the kids happy!

More coloring pages I’ve designed plus more family-friendly Shamrock crafts you can make and more St. Patrick’s day crafts and activities.

And that’s it! You can do so many fun things with kids for St. Patrick’s Day, but I think coloring pages are probably the easiest, especially for a wide age range. Even adults can get involved! You can make projects with your Shamrock coloring sheets when you’re finished or just simply show off your fabulous coloring skills.
