What’s missing in my craft room tour?
Did you notice that there was no computer nor printer or Cricut machine? Nope.. none of the above! Because this is an unfinished basement, power outlets are minimal. So I do all my computer work (which is 75% of what I do), in my little desk area in the kitchen. I love this space too. I’m right in the middle of all the family action, I sit right next to the doors to the deck so my view is amazing… and there is a snack waiting for me at any given moment.
Up until this week… Here is where I work most of the day….
I have a few little do-dads sitting on my desk right in front of my keyboard… some fun little painted rocks and a Mushu and cricket set I just got from my kids for Christmas. I extra big heart Disney’s Mulan!
I have both a laser and ink jet printer in this area as well as a Cricut Explore, an iMac and a minc. There’s plenty of storage for all the paper I need and usually I have a few cans of pencils and pens… I just moved them today to the new craft room table. The desk faces the family room, so I can chat with the kids, watch TV and enjoy the extra sunlight from the big windows.
And that’s it. A tour of my crafty areas. There are so many little details I didn’t show you yet. We’ll have to chat again so I can share more fun organizing ideas and ways to add extra creative personality to your own space. You can fill your screen with even more craft room inspiration, just head on over to the Country Chic Cottage and see who else is showing off their craft rooms this week!
