Super Simple Halloween Snack Mix

This party mix is so simple and quick to create. It’s also super easy to customize with your own favorite flavors. Add in other fun Halloween candies or yummy treats to personalize the snack. You can also make a version without candies by replacing the candies and marshmallows with raisins or nuts.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 box Chex Cereal
  • 1 bag Candy Corn
  • 1/2 bag Mini Marshmallows

Tip: the ingredient measurements are not exact. Add as much or as little of each ingredient as you’d like. Because the ingredients are individual bites in the mix, you can add more or less and even include other items if you’d like.

Instructions

  1. Put the cereal in a bowl.
  2. Add the candy corn and marshmallows and toss together.
  3. Scoop the mix into little cups or treat bags.
  4. Optionally, tie the treat bags with a little bit of twine and if you’d like, add a fun Halloween gift tag.

Extra fun idea: try the different flavors of Chex cereal to change up the flavor of your party mix!

This super simple halloween snack mix also makes a great DIY project for a class party. Set all the ingredients in different containers on a table. Make sure each container has a spoon or scoop for serving. Include cups or bags and twine and let the kids each make their own special combo of party mix to enjoy. Other items you can include are things like raisins, M&Ms or even sprinkles.
