Replay a Free Video editor app for Iphone

Written by: | Published: February 27, 2015 | Updated: February 27, 2015

I’ve just found Replay, a Video editing app for iphone that is a dream to use! I’m always looking for more ways to express a little creativity and things to create. However, I don’t always ave time for the learning curve. Making even a quick little video, figuring out the software and dealing with all the extras like sound and speed can be overwhelming. Not now! Using just your iphone standard video app (part of the photo app) and this cool editing app, you can be making fantastic videos in no time. I just discovered Replay through the Apple App store and I LOVE it!

10 Reasons why I Love Replay

Super easy and fun interface
You’ll be able to create high quality videos to share without having to be a pro video creator. There’s not a lot of techie video options, or it doesn’t feel like there are. Although, if you are video geek, I think you’ll love Replay too – it’s great for creating quick videos!

Preformated themes ready to use
Each theme includes it’s own style and little extra details that are added right into your video to make a professional looking video with hardly any effort.

Easily create slideshow style videos
Just select the photos you want to include and watch the gorgeous styling happen.

Import both videos and photos within the same video
Add extra style to your pre-made videos or combine videos with photos for really interesting presentation.

Two format choices
Create a standard sized video or crop it down into a square with one click – perfect for Instagram!

Great sound clips available to include in your videos
Right within the app you can select from a variety of music options. You can also add your own sound or turn the sound off completely.

Cool music syncing
Images are displayed to coordinate with the beat of the music you select! I haven’t tested this a bunch, but in my example video, I changed the music that came with the theme and as I changed it, the app went through a syncing process to “detect beats”. Pretty cool!

Speed/Pace settings
There are 3 speed settings, slow, normal and fast. For Instagram, we are limited to what, 14 seconds? So, sometimes cutting the time is difficult, but if we just speed up the pace a little, the video is still great and it fits for Instagram sharing. I’m also a fan of the time-lapse option, so tying in a fast pace in the slide show videos is really kinda nifty!

It’s FREEEEEeee
Right from the get-go this app is free without ads all over the place. Not even an ad in one place – no obnoxious popup promos, nothing!

Comes with free themes and you can purchase additional themes
There’s no watermarking or limitations to use the app “out of the box” except for the themese available. But if you love the themes it comes with (and they are GREAT), it’s a fantastic app for no money out of pocket! Each additional theme is only .99 cents but you can also buy bundles for $2.99 or the whole bunch of them for $9.99. Definitely a great price for everything you get!

So that’s the 10, but there’s a bunch more to love about this free app. You’re just going to have to grab yourself a copy of this app and check it out! Here’s a few more reasons to love Replay… duplicate images, add text to each segment, change image focal point, duplicate videos you’ve already created to edit and make new… PLUS a fun little image matching game to play while you wait for your video to process (which only takes a handful of seconds). Just go, grab it!

I love when an app is awesome to use, gives you great results AND is free. I did purchase a couple of the themes, I love all the extra options and for .99 cents, you can’t go wrong! Reply is an absolute dream to use, I feel like I can produce some really fabulous looking videos to compliment my content and it didn’t take weeks to learn – more like 15 minutes of playing to make my first video!

I’d LOVE to see what you create with this app – give me a shout and let me know!
