Goldfish Filled Mini Pumpkin Halloween Treats

Written by: | Published: September 15, 2014 | Updated: October 25, 2021

Looking for sugar free alternatives to Halloween Treats is always a challenge.  Halloween decorating or costume making is easy, avoiding truck loads of sugar is not so much. The kids never seem very excited when I start handing out granola bars or fruit snacks for trick-or-treat snacks. But turn the treats into cute or clever Halloween goodies, and the kids are happy.

Make your own Pumpkin Halloween Treats with Goldfish Snacks

You can fill these treat bags with all kinds of tasty snacks, but the Goldfish make them so super cute!

School parties always seem so loaded with sugar, it’s nice to be able to add a few things the kids like that help cut down on the sugar too so these cute little pumpkin treats are perfect! Who doesn’t love Goldfish snacks?

Materials you need:

  • Goldfish snacks
  • Rounded celophane treat bags (although a standard rectangle bag will work too)
  • Permanent black marker
  • Twine or yarn
  • Scissors

Instructions to make Pumpkin Halloween Treats with Goldfish Snacks

  1. Using the marker, draw jack-o-lantern faces on one side of each bag.
  2. Fill the bag with Goldfish snacks.
  3. Tie the top of the bag with twine.

I suggest making one and testing before drawing on all your bags. Check the size of the bag with how much you want to fill it and where the face should go.
