It’s World Card Making Day

Today is World Card Making day – so get out some paper and some sparkles and make someone a little note to let them know you are thinking of them. There are a ton of people participating in today's event and you can join in too. Just jump in, try your hand at making a card for whatever occasion.

One of the most fun card projects you can make in 5 minutes flat is using scraps of wrapping paper. Just use the wrapping paper as your actual card, fold it, add a ribbon and a message with loads of smiley faces and hearts – xoxo – and you're set!

I've made a a few cards using my own printable art that you can use too. It's about 1:45 in the A.M. so my photo right now needs some improvement… I'll share more later. Earlier this week I shared some fun card making ideas using David Tutera's Paper Crafts products… super easy card making. Now I'm sharing my own quick and easy designs…

Printable art infos:

  • Happy Halloween card is using 2 pumpkins from Cute Halloween set
  • Owl “hi!” card is using the Sketch style owl
  • Wedding card is using the Wedding Dress set
  • Happy Birthday card is using the Pretty Cupcake with Cherry image
  • Thinking of You is using the Dragonfly

Later I will show you how to make some of these cards. It doesn't have to be difficult. You just need a few supplies and a little imagination. Happy World Card Making Day!

  1. You are super talented. My daughter loves your coloring pages. Do you happen to have any free printables/downloads for “First Day of School” or anything like that?
    Thanks so much!
