DIY Lunch Notes with Cricut

Written by: | Published: August 14, 2015 | Updated: August 07, 2023

These little DIY Printable lunch notes aren’t just for school lunches, and the kids sure do love them! I’ve teamed up with Cricut to create a set of fun lunch notes that you can print, draw and cut all with your Cricut and Cricut Design Space.

Mix and match to create a variety of fun Cricut projects including these cute lunch notes.

The entire design set is divided into 5 different notes, each with a Print Then Cut file and draw line art file. You can use them all together or mix and match them however you’d like! This is a fun back-to-school craft that you can keep creating all year long!

My favorite thing about this set of lunch notes is the draw line (no surprise, right?). You can choose to just print and cut the note as is.

But if you choose to use the draw line, you can add pretty metallic inks without worrying how straight your handwriting it.

You can also use the draw line all by itself and it will look like you hand wrote your fancy little notes… that’s an even bigger bonus!

Materials you need:

Instructions:

  1. Cut design following on-screen instructions for pen color changes.
  2. Embellish – Add little self-stick gems for a little extra sparkle

Tip: When you create a Print Then Cut image that includes pen drawing, make sure the PTC is a single printed piece . OR cut each piece individually with their coordinated draw lines so the drawing component is processed correctly

You could make a whole bunch of these notes ahead of time and stash them away for when you need them. Or, they are so quick and easy to create, you can make the whole set in 30 minutes or less. Make one in 5 minutes! If you grab the full Make-it-Now project, it includes 6 different images that you can mix and match and use to create more fun projects. The cute extra embellishments would make adorable confetti in the next card you create too!
