DIY Elegant Candle Centerpiece

Written by: | Published: November 27, 2012 | Updated: August 10, 2015

You can make some simple yet elegant decor items using materials entirely found at the dollar store. For little cost and not much time, you can make a pretty candle centerpiece just in time for all your holiday festivities. I picked up $6 worth of supplies at my local Dollar Tree to make this decor, here’s how…

Materials:

  • 3 medium sized candles
  • Glass candle dish
  • Small grapevine wreath
  • Gold plastic toy necklace
Wrap a strand of gold beads to dress up a grapevine wreath

Instructions:

Cut the necklace so you end up with a single strand of beads. Wrap the strand around the grapevine wreath and secure in place with glue (I used hot glue for a quick dry time). Place the wreath on top of the glass candle dish and then place the candles on the dish. That’s it!

You can change the look by adding ribbon or other colors of beads. Also choose candle colors to match your decor as you’d like.
