I Love Werther’s Candies, who doesn’t? It’s the go to handout at all the trade shows and is a great way to make a new friend. So when I was asked if I wanted to try the new sugar free Werther’s, of course I said YES PLEASE! I have to say, I usually like sugar free candy, but rarely do I try any that aren’t fruity. I wasn’t worried because Werther’s is fabulous, but just so you know I did try each flavor at least 5 times just to be sure I did indeed like them all – research calls!
There are 4 fun sugar free flavors, Original, Cinnamon, Green Apple and Coffee. My favorite is still the original, I love that buttery caramel taste. Next in the line up for me is the Green Apple. I was surprised I like this one so much, it’s tangy and caramely and oh so yummy! The cinnamon is a nice surprise and the coffee tastes a little like a caramel macchiato – mmmmm! I think I’ll let one melt in my coffee and see how delicious that is!
This new sugar free variety only has 40 calories and as far as I can tell, there is no difference in flavor. I love them and my kids love them. I didn’t head to the store with my sugar free bags, so I can’t tell you in details, but I see no difference in packaging either – except of course, the “sugar free” label. Just yumminess in a bag… mmmmm tasty!
I wish I could show you how cool this box is, it “pours” the caramel onto the candies when you move the box. What are those called? I don’t know either, but it’s really cool. Look at all the Werther’s goodies up there. Now go grab yourself a bag, guilt free candy, can’t beat that!
