Rainbow Garland and Free Printable

Today we’re making Rainbow garland. Garland is one of my favorite party decor pieces. I think everything looks more like a party when you have pretty decorations draped around the party space. I’ve designed a pretty painted rainbow colored printable you can use to make your own rainbow garland today.

DIY Rainbow Garland

Materials you need:

• Printable rainbow garland art (see download link below).
• Printer and paper
• Scissors
• Hole punch
• Twine
• Optional – rainbow tassels

Instructions to make your own rainbow garland

1. Print and cut out all the rainbow garland pennants.
2. Punch holes at the top two corners of each pennant.
3. Thread twine through the holes of each pennant.
4. Repeat until you have garland the length you want.

Optionally, make your own rainbow tassels and then string them onto the the twin along with your pennants. You can also add in other fun accessories like star stickers or curly ribbon.

We have some fun rainbow beads with letters and heart shaped rainbow beads. I think it would be really fun to string the beads on the twine along with the pennants too. You can add all kinds of fun accessories. Get creative with your garland. Add your own personal touch!

You don’t even have to be celebrating anything in specific. You can decorate with rainbows to add a little sunshine to a rainy day or to brighten up any room!
