How to make washi tape Valentine’s Day cards with Doodle Accents:

There’s no exact way to make these cards because each one is unique, so I’ll give you the basic steps, then you adjust to fit what you’d like your cards to look like.

  1. Create a design with the washi tape on paper.
  2. Doodle a design.
  3. Cut out your shapes.
  4. Glue together.
  5. Add more doodles or tape to accent.

If you want to make, for example, a heart that is covered in washi tape…. apply rows of tape to the paper, then cut out the heart shape.

Tip: You’ll get cleaner edges and lines if you make borders or covered areas with the washi tape and then trim the paper and tape together.
