Chalky Finish Watercolor Painted Flower Vase

You've heard all kinds of talk about chalk paint haven't you? It's a very matte finish paint that adheres to a variety of surfaces and in some cases doesn't require any prep. I love it! You can paint a variety of surfaces with little effort and it comes in all kinds of pretty colors. So, when Kim from Today's Creative Blog offered the opportunity to write a guest post for her, I decide to share a pretty vase tutorial. You can head over to her site to check out my Chalky Finish watercolor painted vase.

I used a glass jar, chalky finish paint and watercolor paint to create a subtle color technique on a vintage style painted vase. I really love how it turned out. What do you think? You can read the full Chalky Finish watercolor painted vase tutorial over on Kim's blog.
