I’m really excited about Disneynature’s newest film, Chimpazee. The real life animal story looks heart warming and inspiring. It’s amazing what nature is capable of and I’m excited to see it on film. The movie opens in theaters April 20th, 2012 (that’s earth day!) and if you attend opening week, a donation will be made to the Jane Goodall foundation (bonus YAY!).
The really neat thing about this movie… it started out as a documentary about a family of chimpanzees with the baby (Oscar) as the star. Something happens to the parents during the filming and they directors thought their movie was over. Then the alpha-male comes in an adopts the baby… the story continues and we get to see it all caught on film.
