DIY Easy Flower Gift Tags

Make quick and easy gift tags with this floral SVG design I’ve created. You can use your Cricut Design Space software to easily make a print-then cut design.

Materials

  • Spring flower SVG design
  • Card stock
  • Printer
  • Cricut Machine (or scissors)
  • Ribbon

Instructions

  1. Download the SVG file, unzip and then upload to Cricut Design Space.
  2. Place a rounded corner rectangle on your CDS canvas. Set to your desired size.
    (2.5″x3″ is my choice.)
  3. Place the flower design on the rectangle.
  4. Set the flower and stem colors to your preferred choices.
  5. Create the gift tag hole. Add a small circle to the rectangle where you’d like your gift tag hole. Select the rectangle and the hole and “slice” or “exclude” to cut the circle out of the rectangle.
  6. Select everything. Flatten. this will automatically set the entire design to a complete image that will print.
  7. Click the Make it button to send to the digital mat in Cricut Design Space.
  8. Follow on-screen instructions to print and then cut the design.
  9. Add a ribbon to the top of your tag and use with your gifts.

This download includes a file in SVG format compressed as a zip file. This file works with Cricut MakerCricut Explore Air, Cricut Joy and other electronic cutting machines.
