Update for My Veggie Growing with Gro-ables

This post brought to you by Gro-ables. All opinions are 100% mine.

A little whilte ago I shared a new garden product from Miracle-Gro called Gro-ables. They are afforable, easy to use little planting kits that come complete with seeds and soil in a single ready-to-plant pod. I've been growing my own Gro-ables for about a month now and they are doing GREAT! I don't have actual veggies to eat yet (unless you count teeny tiny lettuce.. just the right size for the Barbies), but that's ok. Here in Colorado, no one is harvesting piles of garden goods just yet.

My Gro-ables at growing!

I was really surprized to see how quickly my Gro-ables sprouted! It was about 10 days after planting when we started seeing real progress… and the Snap peas are definitely having a party, they are growing like crazy! The package says they are guarenteed to grow is used as directed, so, for once, I must have followed directions.

Gro-ables happily growing

How cute are these tiny plants? I'm so excited, YAY for growing them myself! I know you want your own now, don't you?

Now, like I said, my plants aren't quite ready yet. Depending on where you love, your harvest season might be earlier in the year. So for now I just have to dream of the yummy food I'm going to be feeding my family. I think it's soo cool to be able to say we grew this food ourselves!

I love the tomatoes. I've tried to grow my own tomatoes from seeds for years, with only minimal success. Now, my 1 Gro-able tomato pod has 3 very happy little tomato plants, they are adorable! I can't wait to see how well they do this summer. I do plan on transplanting each into it's own pot once they get a little bit bigger. I can hardly wait to see real tomatoes I can eat!
