Thank you cards sometimes seem to be the forgotten cousin of the gift world. We email or say thank you in person, but how often do we send a real Thank You card in the mail? Today I’m sharing a thank you card made with my Cricut machine. You can grab the free SVG file below and make your own too!
Make a Thank You Card with your Cricut
When I was a kid Thank You cards were kind of a requirement to any occasion. I have to admit, I use email far more than tangible cards, but I think that needs to change. I designed this cutting file you can use to create your own Thank You cards. Make a whole stack and give them as a gift or use them to send your piles of thanks for the gifts this year. Whatever you do, have fun with it.
This card kit comes with:
- Circle Thank You card
- Choice of block letter or hand written feature Thank You text
- 2 circle disks to add to the inside of the card
- Coordinating envelope
Instructions
- Use the cut out letters as confetti inside your card BONUS!
- Download the free Thank You Card kit SVG file.
- Upload to Design Space.
- Set each piece for the appropriate action… writing, scoring or cutting.
- Get cutting!

This template is excellent! Any thoughts on what I might do to keep the little pieces from the cut from tearing or pulling up? I’ve tried a million different settings and keep running into the same situation.
Hi! Those tiny cut pieces can be so tricky with all kinds of designs. I’ve found that making sure the blade is clean but more importantly, the mat is clean is the key. A good, clean, sticky mat really does improve the quality of the cuts. Sometimes the paper or cardstock can make a difference too. Let me know if that works for you. Thank you for your note.

Thank you for providing this card! I have not made a card in about 15 years, and this was my first Cricut card project. I was able to figure out everything but how to get my contrasting letters on the card evenly. I finally gave up and wrote it, instead. It’s still pretty cute, in spite of my lack of skill.

Hello! I’m new to using Cricut and struggling with this template. I want to use the cursive “thank you” instead of the blocked “thank you,” and can’t figure out how to move it into the correct place (rather than below the circle).
Any help would be appreciated!
Hi b, After you upload the svg to your account and place the image on your canvas… ungroup image, select the block text and move it off the card. You can then move the script to the card. Make sure to change the script to “write” and attach it to the card along with the score line. Let me know how that works for you.

I agree with you, sending Thank you notes is a lost form of communication. I was raised with the notion that sending Thank you notes was proper etiquette especially when you received a gift or someone helped you in a big way. I think we need to bring this back into fashion. I just love this thank you card, but all I see when I go to download t is the envelope, not the circle. I love the cricuit and design space, Am I missing something on the download? I want to use this on my Thank your. I have brought every image you have made and love them all!
Hi Laurel, thank you for the note! The whole set is in the file, but is difficult to see because of the way it was colored for preview. I just updated the file so it’s easier to see all the available components. Let me know how this new one works for you.
