Grab your Cricut machine and some black cardstock and get ready to make this super cool (and easy) spiderweb garland for Halloween. I’d designs a cut file for Cricut that will help you easily cut (or draw) all the spiderwebs you want! For this project, I’ve also combined some of the webs so you have less to lay out and all you need to do is cut and glue and voila, you are ready to add some extra spooky accents to your Halloween Party Decor.
This design file comes with a draw line as well, so you can add a hand-drawn spiderweb to any project you want!
Spiderweb Garland
Whether you want to make a Halloween garland for your mantel or a fun accent to an entire staircase railing, you can create a custom decor piece easily. You just cut out as many spiderweb pieces as you need and connect them with glue. You can also use this spiderweb cutout to create party invites, t-shirt designs with sparkle vinyl or create a custom wall art design. So many possibilities… and as many spiderweb pieces and want!
Materials
- Cricut Machine
- Cricut Design Space™ software
- Spiderweb Garland Cricut project designed by Jen Goode
- 12″ x 12″ StandardGrip Cricut® mat
- Black cardstock
- Adhesive

Instructions
- Cut design following on screen instructions for mat changes
- Glue spiderweb pieces together according to the layout. Allow to dry.
- Display as desired.
Tip: Don’t worry about dried glue showing on your finished piece, you can flip the entire web over so the glue is on the back.
Look how delicate the cuts are.
When you glue the pieces together, don’t worry about excess glue showing, you can just flip the whole web over and no one will ever know.
Look how awesome these webs are all together. After you make your garland, cut out a bunch of extra spiderwebs to decorate everything else. You could even make a spiderweb “lace” table runner!

How small do you think the spider web design can be made on the Cricut? I think I’ve read that vinyl can be very precise when cut very very small–is that true? I’m just now researching these cutting machines, and I am trying to decide if it would be a useful machine for me to use in dollhouse miniatures. Thank you!
Hi Julie, I’ve gotten the web to cut fairly small. For the spiderweb luminaries, the smallest web was about 3″ in diameter (https://www.100directions.com/diy-spiderweb-luminary/). But they could definitely cut smaller than that. Try maybe 1.5″? Let me know what you play with!
