There's snow on the slopes and hot cocoa on the stove and I'm sitting here at home writing about winter bliss. Check out this mountain community, in Steamboat, Colorado… The Porches. It's one thing to get up on the hill and breathe in that mountain air in the middle of the ski season, it's an entirely different experience to be able to crash at the end of a great day on the slopes at luxury accommodations. You've got to take a look, the photos alone makes me want to start saving for vacation now! There are virtual tours so you can check out many of the properties… go I dare you, GO!

A little bit about The Porches
Luxury homes that are cozy and comfy looking but large enough for groups. Each home is between 3,000 and 5,000 square feet (yippeee, that's big!) and can sleep 8-14 people, not including sleeping bags on the floor! Each home is loaded with amenities, I was drooling over the photos of every home! I think my favorite is the Hawthorn… what do you think?
There's also a “community” house, kind of like a club house called The Barn loaded with amenities including pool table, business center (because we can't just leave work at home), kid's game room, outdoor BBQ deck, heated all-season swimming pool to name a few. There's a concierge service that can help you with every detail of your trip.
It seems they've left no detail out. The Porches also offer a private shuttle service to and from the ski area and anywhere in town. You'll also be able to leave your skis and boards at the complimentary valet tent, so no hauling everything back and forth, awesome! Take a look at more reviews on Trip Advisor.
Disclaimer: I haven't been to visit The Porches personally, I'm sharing what I've learned because it looks fantastic.
