I am so excited for the new rendition of the classic Snow White fairytale, Mirror Mirror. I've always been a huge fan of Oscar®-winner Julia Roberts, so seeing her in a favorite children's story with a Twist. In this magical comedy Julia plays an evil Queen who ruthlessly rules her captured kingdom while Lily Collins (The Blind Side) as Snow White, is not the sweet innocent little girl we might have known years ago, but rather a princess in exile able to defend herself rather well. She hangs out with a group rebel dwarfs.
From an artistic view, the costumes look to be amazing, full of detail and vibrant color. I'm looking forward to the eye candy this film promises. From Julia's flaming red hair to the mood-setting tones of this fairytale land, there seems to be plenty of interesting visuals to soak in.
