Add in your own favorite side recipe or enjoy alone, either way, we loved trying these soups… I think you will too!
Make at Home Delicious Steakhouse Potato Soup
We tried the Broccoli and Cheese potato soup. There are plenty of bites with yummy broccoli and cheese. Seasoning was perfect, not too salty and just the right amount of cheese. We added a little shredded cheddar on top of each serving but that was mostly because it’s pretty.
When I was asked to try Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Potato Soups I was excited. My family loves soup. We have a soup and sandwich or soup and salad night usually once a week, if not more. However, I had no idea how delicious these soups would be. They really are steakhouse delicious! Thick and hearty and full of plenty of tasty bites. My husband even said “yes, please, you can buy this again!”. So you got it, Idahoan on the grocery shopping list it goes.
Quick and Easy
To make any of the Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Potato Soups, you need about 10 minutes and some water. That’s about it. It’s so easy, my kids can make it! My daughter needs a little help because you do cook the soup on the stove, but there aren’t any complicated steps or extra ingredients. You can all your own extra toppings, but you don’t need to. Just follow the package instructions – basically bring water and soup mix to a boil, cook for 5 minutes and serve. You’re going to want to take a bite right away… let it cool for a minute!
My kids loved it
My middle son helped me make dinner the night we tried this potato soup. I don’t know if he was more excited about getting to pick the flavor or getting first dibs on filling his bowl. I supervised, but he made the entire soup by himself. Then he ate almost the entire soup by himself!
Great alone or with a side
We made garlic bread and a yummy salad to go alone with soup night. A selection of mixed greens, tomatoes, mushrooms and a little cheese and we had a great salad to finish off our filling dinner. While we had soup and salad for dinner. These soups are quick and easy enough to prepare to make as an after-school snack or a ready to eat lunch.
Next soup night we’re having grilled ham and cheese… at least that’s what my belly is saying right now. These soups are so yummy, I can’t say it enough. I love that they are packed full of perfect bits and I love that my family was bummed I didn’t make a second batch. It’s not always easy to find a meal idea that is quick and easy that my family begs for more.
