I here over and over from friends and family “I’m just not creative”. Over and over I reply “yes you are!”. There’s a big difference between creativity and artistic talent and I honestly believe everyone is creative. It’s about problem solving and creative thinking… thinking outside the typical norm. It happens, in all of us. We just need to learn to recognize it and go with it.
The key is the “go with it” piece. Allow yourself to think creatively and then act on it. Create something every day. Doesn’t matter what it is, just create. Could be a song, a story, a painting and cake… I don’t care, just create!
The Challenge:
For the entire month of July, I am challenging myself to create daily and inviting you to come along. As a bit of a brainstorming jump starter, I’ve created a list of 31 promps/ideas/themes so together we have no excuse.

Don’t forget, this isn’t about drawing or painting.. crafting or anything specific. Create things YOU LOVE. Maybe you are the best darn sandwich maker on the planet – do it, share it.. maybe I’ll be inspired to make a great sandwich too and my kids will be happy they aren’t stuck with PB&J AGAIN.
