I’m a New Member of the Xyron Design Team

Written by: | Published: February 27, 2013 | Updated: August 10, 2015

Last month I applied for the Xyron Design team. I had met a few of the PR staff at the most recent CHA show and was excited to hear they had a group of designers creating projects with them. I’ve been using Xyron products for YEARS, so it seemed like a no brainer for me to apply. Yay for me, I was chosen as one of the newest Xyron Design team members – Woot woot! I’m joining a great group of creative minds to help demonstrate how to use Xyron products in crafts and other fun DIY. I’m hoping to share not only project ideas, but some fun techniques and ideas for ways to use the different adhesives that you might not have thought of already. Check out my Xyron Design Team intro.

Xyron Design Team

Do you use Xyron products? I’d love to hear if you have any ideas.

Fun facts – it’s Zie-Ron – sounds super cool and artsy, don’t you think?

You can use the adhesive on an array of materials.

There’s a backing on all the adhesive applications, so you can apply the adhesive today but wait to stick it (great for those projects where you can only do 5 minutes at a time because your kids are sticking crayons up their nose).

I have the old Xyron 900, now lovingly called the 9″ Creative Station. The Creative Station allows you to put a layer of adhesive on an entire sheet of paper, kind of like making your own contact paper. You can also laminate without heat and make magnets out of your paper creations. I LOVE this product – and no, they didn’t pay me to say that… I already owned the Xyron 900 before I met all these great folks.

There are also smaller Xyron tools and products that are perfect for little hands. I’ll share more about them later. Just remember, that neat little X logo makes a super cute mini Xyron sticker maker… awww!
