Crop for a Cause in Chicago March 2013

Late last year I was contacted by a woman asking if I might be interested in sponsoring an event she was hosting to raise awareness and funds for MS. I was so intrigued by her enthusiasm and excitement in putting together such a neat fundraising activity which combines creativity and charity that I wanted to share with you. The event, Crop for a Cause, is held in Chicago and will be March 2, 2013. monies are donated to the National MS Society.

Every hour, someone is diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  This person could be a loved one, friend or even you.  Sixteen years ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Since then I have made it my personal goal to do all I can to raise money to fight MS. Please read this and join me in the fight against this disease.

Crop-for-a-Cause-Team

“together we can do what alone we can not!!”

My family and I have participated in The National MS Society’s Walk MS for the past 15 years. In 2006 we felt we needed to do more. We formed our own team for Walk MS and combined two important aspects of my life – helping in the fight against MS and scrapbooking. We are now planning our seventh annual “Crop for a Cause” event.  To date, this not-for-profit foundation has raised over $150,000 for the National MS Society. Each year, our “Super Crop” is a sellout event for 250+ guests who come together to spend eight hours scrapbooking memories, sharing our lives with friends, enjoying dinner and snacks, and shopping at the silent auction to raise money for MS.  This year’s event will take place March 2, 2013.
