Disney's Planes Fun for Everyone

The newest of the animated Disney movies, PLANES, hits theaters today. It’s action packed, full of colorful characters, funny jokes and another great story about conquering your fears to “fly high” toward success. You’ll find some familiar faces and coordinating scenes as this is part of the Cars series. There’s also a great international flare with planes coming to race from around the world. I loved the sound track, my 17 year old son loved the humor and my 6 year old daughter loved the entire movie.

Who should see this film: The whole family! This one definitely appeals to all ages. While the Cars story line does tend to lean toward a bit of a younger audience, primarily boys, than some other Disney themes, Planes does fit that same group. However, the girls seemed to like this movie as much as the boys. The good guys are great and the bad guys aren’t all that bad… nothing very scary nor alarming in this Disney movie so it’s definitely ok for even the youngest fans.

There are a even few scenes that I couldn’t help but think back to Top Gun. I love the fighter planes!
