Cricut Easy Press Review – 10 Reasons We Love It

  1. Easy to read controls
The Cricut Easy Press has clear controls right on the top of the device. You can choose a temperature and timer setting and then just hit go to get started.
  2. Multiple heat settings
Easily set the temperature with just the touch of a button. Every time of iron-on has it’s own ideal temperture, the Easy Press has got you covered. And the indicator sound and clear temperature display will let you know when the device ready to use.
  3. Easy to use timer
Set your timer for the optimal heating time. Once you’re ready to iron on the material, just press go and the Easy Press does the rest. You can easily complete a full iron-on in under 60 seconds!

  4. Set and go heating
Set the temperature and timer and add a little pressure to heat set your material. No need to move the device around the fabric like a traditional iron, the Easy Press distributes even heat along it’s entire base. If your design is larger than the Easy Press heating base, just move the device to cover a second area, set the timer and heat again.
  5. Easy to Handle
The Easy press weighs a little more than a standard iron, but is easily managed with just one hand. Sometimes I love to use two hands when I’m working on a number of iron-on projects, but it’s must lighter than a big t-shirt press.

  6. Base included
The whole unit includes a rubber, heat resistant base that the easy press sits in… hot or cold. The base helps keep your table or work surface protected while stored away nicely.
  7. Ready to go out of the box
there’s nothing to set up when you first take the Easy Press out of the box. Just remove all the packaging, read the included instructions and safety info, plug in and get ready to iron-on all the things!

  8. Larger heating surface
The heating surface is much larger than a standard clothing iron so you can easily iron-on full t-shirt designs with one heating.
  9. Works with a variety of fabrics and iron-on materials
The temperature and time settings can accommodate a wide variety of materials and heat settings. The package includes a handy little table with some suggested settings but you are welcome to come up with your own preferred settings as well.

  10. Easy to store
The Easy Press is a nice small design that can easily be stored in a cabinet or under a work table without too much trouble. With the included base, you can simply wrap up the cord and set the entire device, base and all, on a shelf.
  11. Sleek design
Although the Cricut Easy Press is a heating tool, it’s design is quite pretty. It’s a nice modern look designed in white and gray with a bit of teal under the handle. It’s nice enough to leave on the counter and not look like some clunky craft tool.
  12. Great price
You get all the features of a traditional t-shirt press without the high price. You’ll get these great features with easy to use controls and plenty of setting options for a fraction of what it would cost for a traditional heat press. Head to Cricut to learn more!

The Cricut Easy Press also comes with a table of glitter iron-on vinyl, a swatch of fabric so you can make your first project right out of the box. I created a simple word art design and ironed it on to a t-shirt tote bag as my first project.

You will need a Cricut Machine, Cricut Design Space and a Design to cut, Iron-on vinyl (I used pretty white glitter), something to iron the design to and the Easy Press. The project above is a simple t-shirt tote bag with word art I created in Design Space. You can use the same word art, go to the DS Canvas here.

Gotta love that pretty vinyl glitter iron-on! What will you make with YOUR Cricut Easy Press?
